Testified successfully as an expert witness in U.S. District Court on behalf of the U.S. division of a leading global supplier of bearing and seal products. The company alleged that former employees misappropriated trade secrets, solicited the company’s customers and violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
BIO-TECH MANUFACTURER
Testified successfully as an expert witness in an International Chamber of Commerce arbitration in Dublin, Ireland on behalf of a U.S. bio-technology manufacturer in a dispute with the Italian subsidiary of a global leader in precision technology, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The matter involved the alleged breach of an agreement by the Italian subsidiary to market and distribute the bio-tech’s state-of-the-art blood analyzing equipment throughout Italy.
INSURANCE COMPANY
Testified successfully as an expert witness on behalf of an insurance group in a $60 Million breach of contract arbitration brought by a Managing General Agent (“MGA”). The plaintiff alleged that it was significantly damaged when the insurance company failed to complete filings and obtain admission in key states which restricted plaintiff’s sale of public entity policies.
BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION COMPANY
Prepared a $39 Million damage claim on behalf of a Brownfield remediation company in a breach of contract dispute with a municipality. Opposing counsel stipulated to the entire damage claim at trial.
