Robert W. Fesnak Robert Fesnak is the Managing Partner of Fesnak and Associates, LLP. Bob has developed an extensive background in audit, accounting, tax, valuation and financial consulting for many public and middle market companies. He has over twenty years of experience with concentration in the manufacturing, high-tech, service, real estate, wholesale, health care, leasing and broker-dealer industries. His experience included assisting clients in the registration of various debt and equity securities with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) including various SEC filings.
James J. Caruso, James Caruso is a Partner overseeing the Financial Management Outsourcing & Advisory Services and the Mergers & Acquisitions practices. Jim has 18 years of diverse experience in financial management, M&A, operations, information technology, auditing and consulting. Since joining Fesnak and Associates LLP in 2005, he has led the delivery of outsourced financial management services to numerous organizations, while serving as Acting CFO to help several emerging growth companies get to the next level. Jim has also led financial due diligence for 20 acquisitions over the past two years. Prior to joining Fesnak and Associates LLP, Jim was EVP/CFO of a private equity-backed middle-market manufacturing company where he was brought on to help facilitate a turnaround, reorganization and ultimate sale of the business. Jim has also worked for operating units of two Fortune 500 companies, as well as for Deloitte & Touche in two separate stints in both auditing and management consulting roles. His functional expertise includes financial and operational analysis, M&A, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, business process analysis and optimization, turnarounds and change management. Jim received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA, the Turnaround Management Association and the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executives Group. Jim delivered a presentation to the Maine chapter of the Turnaround Management Association entitled “Leadership and Crisis Management in the Turnaround of Irving Tanning Company.”
Bill Mahoney is a partner in the accounting and audit area of Fesnak and Associates, LLP. Bill has quality control responsibilities for the A&A services. Bill is a former partner from Smart & Associates, LLP and has over twenty-five years of accounting and financial consulting experience serving numerous emerging growth, middle market, not-for-profit, and public companies. Bill also served as the firm’s Technical Consulting Partner on all accounting and auditing issues. Prior to joining Smart and Associates, LLP, Bill was an audit manager with Coopers & Lybrand for five years. The numerous types of clients Bill has served include manufacturing, service, real estate, banking, and not-for-profit entities. In addition to the administration of audits, Bill was also involved in establishing the accounting systems and controls for two start-up banks. Such expertise was derived in part, from four years experience with Industrial Valley Bank’s internal audit department. Bill has also presented seminars on various topics, including real estate, banking, and current developments in accounting and auditing for numerous organizations, including Coopers and Lybrand, and Smart and Associates, LLP. Bill is the Treasurer of the Jenkintown High School Alumni Association. He also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer for a $90 million service company. Bill’s consulting experience includes assisting a $1 billion publicly held company with the proper recording of a reverse merger, with a carve-out of the individual legal entities, consolidation of unincorporated divisions and proper reconciliation of inter-company balances and transactions. Bill received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University and received an award from the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for outstanding achievement on the CPA examination. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Lisa A. McLemore Lisa has an extensive experience in providing a full array of tax services to a broad range of publicly and privately-held companies. For approximately twenty years, Lisa has assisted companies specializing in manufacturing and distribution, pharmaceutical and life sciences, real estate and investment advisory services. Lisa was a Tax Director with a Greater Philadelphia based firm from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, she was the Regional Compliance Partner for the Southeast Region of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. In addition to this role, during her fourteen years with PwC, she was a mergers and acquisitions specialist, assisting clients in all phases of the investment cycle. Lisa received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of law and her B.A. from Walsh University (with majors in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration), both with honors. Lisa is an attorney in good standing with the State of New York. Lisa has held a variety of positions with community and industry groups. She was the founder of the Women’s Development Network and the Co-founder of the PwC Women’s Network. She has presented seminars on a number of technical and developmental topics, including serving twice as the keynote speaker of the PwC Women and Business Conference. In addition, she has been featured in Working Mother magazine and on the NBC Nightly News.
Todd Stilo is a partner in the accounting and audit area of Fesnak and Associates, LLP. Todd has over twenty-five years of experience providing accounting and audit services to a variety of clients and industries with a concentration in the manufacturing, service, health care and not-for-profit industries. Formerly a partner of Smart and Associates, LLP and
a shareholder and Director of Assurance Services with Concannon, Gallagher,
Miller & Company, Todd managed client relationships, marketed firm
services and financial products, trained staff and was involved in the
direct delivery of assurance and consulting services. He was also the
firm’s technical advisor on accounting and audit issues. In addition,
Todd has provided in-house firm programs to enhance quality and efficiency
of assurance services, and implement utilization of computer-assisted
audit techniques and paperless audit software. He has also assisted clients
in negotiating favorable debt financing agreements and has acted as interim
controller. Todd’s financial services experience includes training
bank employees in the conduct of field examinations. In the manufacturing industry, Todd has provided financial audit services, as well as acquisition due diligence reviews, internal control system reviews and has developed cost accounting systems. Todd earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Siena College, Loudonville, NY. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the PICPA’s Ethics Committee. Todd is Treasurer of the Lehigh County Historical Society.
