The Philadelphia, Chesapeake and New Jersey Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Chapters are hosting the 10th annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Symposium at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ on June 13-14, 2012. This year’s topic is Riding the Next Economic Wave: Looking Ahead in Uncertain Times.  The conference co-chairs are Steven F. Agran, Managing Director at MorrisAnderson and James J. Caruso, Partner at Fesnak and Associates, LLP.

 

Adam Aron, CEO and Co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers delivers the opening keynote address, drawing from his experience in the turnarounds of numerous companies, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Western Airlines and Nextel Partners. Aron’s leadership of the 76ers has resulted in a more than 60% increase in paid attendance at games, and a more than 90% increase in television ratings. Mr. Aron is also a Senior Operating Partner at Apollo Management L.P., a leading New York-based private equity investment firm.

 

Four U.S. bankruptcy judges, two economists and top-level corporate restructuring and bankruptcy executives anchor panel sessions on timely topics as well as discuss what the next economic wave will look like, which industries will be affected and what tomorrow may bring.  Participants will learn from a faculty of restructuring experts while networking with peers and industry leaders.
