Assurance and Accounting Services Partner
Todd Stilo is the partner-in-charge of the firm's Assurance and Accounting Services group. Todd has over thirty years of experience providing accounting and audit services to a variety of clients and industries with a concentration in the financial services, manufacturing, product distribution, professional and business services, technology and not-for-profit industries.
Todd has extensive experience consulting to emerging growth and middle market companies about entity structuring, business acquisition due diligence, succession planning, internal controls, cash management, product/service costing, financing strategies and negotiations, banking relationships, corporate governance, management reporting, accounting systems, forensic investigations and cost control. Todd assists the firm’s technical advisor on accounting and audit technical matters. In addition, Todd serves as an instructor for firm continuing education programs about enhancing the quality and efficiency of assurance services.
Todd’s manufacturing and product distribution sector experience includes planning and managing financial statement audits, acquisition due diligence reviews, consulting about business deal structuring and negotiations, special investigations, internal control system reviews, financial analysis, consulting regarding debt/equity financing alternatives, structuring and negotiations, cash flow enhancement and development of cost accounting systems.
Todd's financial services industry experience includes financial statement audits of clearing and non-clearing broker/dealers, investment advisory firms, private equity, venture capital and mezzanine-lender funds and other investment companies (including SBICs), preparation of annual reports under SEC rule 17a-5 and internal control system reviews. Presently, Todd oversees and is responsible for the financial statement audits of numerous private equity/venture capital funds located in the Mid-Atlantic region and California.
Todd is a member of the American and Pennsylvania (“PICPA”) Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the PICPA’s Ethics Committee. Todd presently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Allentown Economic Development Corporation. Also, he was formerly a board member and treasurer of the Lehigh County Historical Society.
