Lisa A. McLemore
Lisa is the partner-in-charge of the Tax Services Group of Fesnak and Associates LLP and is an attorney in good standing with the State of New York. She has an extensive experience in providing a full array of tax services to a broad range of publicly and privately-held companies. For over twenty years, she has assisted companies specializing in manufacturing and distribution, pharmaceutical and life sciences, real estate and investment advisory services. She has helped them to assess and improve their federal, international, state and local tax postures, both for financial statement and tax compliance purposes. She has been their advocate with a variety of taxing authorities, representing them at all stages of the audit process.
Previously, Lisa was a Tax Director with a Greater Philadelphia accounting firm from 2002 to 2005, leading the large middle-market and public company tax practices. Prior to that position, she spent fourteen years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Her last position there was as the Regional Compliance Partner for the Southeast Region of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she led the tax compliance centers located in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Miami. Before accepting this role, Lisa was the Worldwide Engagement Tax Partner for a number of Fortune 100 and large middle-market companies. As an Engagement Tax Partner, Lisa led teams providing full-scope tax services to the firm’s clients, including federal, international, state and local tax matters. Lisa began her career with PwC – New York as a mergers and acquisitions specialist, assisting clients in all phases of the investment cycle.
Lisa often teaches and presents seminars on a number of technical areas, including tax/legal entity structuring. She has also spoken on a variety of developmental topics, including serving twice as the keynote speaker of the PwC Women and Business Conference. In addition, she has been featured in Working Mother, Fortune, Pink and other national magazines, as well as on the NBC Nightly News.
Lisa has long been associated with the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) and joined their board in 2011. An active member of community and industry groups, Lisa is a member of the Board of Directors, as well as Treasurer, for BalletX, a non-profit professional dance company. She is the Parent Liaison from Phoenixville Area School District for the Right to Education Task Force, Chester County. She was the founder of the Women’s Development Network and the Co-founder of the PwC Women’s Network.
